DPS 15825 | 36 hours |
On the completion of this course students will be familiar with the basic concepts of risk financing, which a Risk Manager should know. The course covers a wide range of topics (e.g. insurance, claims, forecasting, cost allocation), each of which requires its own high level of expertise. It is not expected that the student become an expert in any of these disciplines. However, by the end of the course the student will be familiar enough with the general concepts to be able to work with the experts in the each of these disciplines to fashion a sound risk financing program and to communicate the goals and progress of this program to senior management.
