This course introduces the basics of web project planning and information architecture. It explores how organizing systems can help optimize the user experience in navigating through different types of online information systems. Students will learn how to read and respond to a request for proposal (RFP), to develop effective information architecture based on complex content requirements and user needs, and to use planning tools like site maps, content outlines, cost estimates, and work-backs.This hands-on course will help students better understand the planning process required for the development of a website.
