Bruce Michalski: Instructor
Bruce is a business advisor for the consulting firm of Harms and Associates Inc. and a freelance writer. As a former small business owner he brings a broad range of experience in assessing the challenges and providing solutions to developing small-to-medium size companies. He also possesses an extensive background in working within the non-profit sector. Over a twenty year span he has served in numerous roles such as Executive Director, Director of Development, Fundraiser, and Publicity Coordinator for several charitable organizations within both the social services and arts communities.
After graduating from the University of Manitoba with a degree in Theatre, he co-partnered a special events company specializing in corporate marketing events and charitable fundraising activities. He is also the founder of Spade and Archer Murder Mysteries, a specialty company that provides customized theatre events for business conferences, professional workshops and private home gatherings.
Bruce’s volunteer work in the community includes serving on the Board of the Selkirk Food Bank as well as participating on fundraising committees in support of Prairie Theatre Exchange, the Manitoba Association of Playwrights, the Black Hole Theatre and Winnipeg Harvest.
