We’re always pleased to welcome new internship partners, and today we’re doing just that.

Farmers Edge is a new partner to the PACE internship program and we’re hoping this is just the beginning. They opened their doors and welcomed Human Resource Management student Tasha Siqueira, onto their team.

Tasha had the opportunity to build valuable connections with the entire HR team at Farmers Edge, including (left to right) Colleen Coates (VP, People & Culture,) Sylvie Shearer (Sr. Talent Acquisition), Maria Gonzalez (Compensation & Benefits Specialist), and Samantha Hughes (HR Coordinator), as well as Brandee Gratton (Sr. Payroll Specialist), Janice Hamilton (Safety Coordinator), and of course, her primary supervisor during the internship, Karen Palmer (Sr. HR Specialist).

"I must acknowledge that every single moment with Farmers Edge was a journey of learning, building valuable relationships, and an opportunity to work with amazing people," said Tasha.

"Karen Palmer (HR and ER) was my immediate supervisor who welcomed me and transitioned me to the Farmers Edge way so seamlessly. Karen built a valuable internship experience in every sphere of the HR world and the opportunity to collaborate with and learn with seasoned professionals.

"I am grateful to Kelly Carpick, Ashlie Wilson, Gina Aiello, UWinnipeg PACE, and my instructors and classmates who prepared me to seize this opportunity and get a pretty big sneak peak into the deadly combination of Agriculture and Technology.

"The company is extremely passionate about its positive impact on the environment that is so much of what the world needs today. I am fortunate and blessed to have had this opportunity and would continue to learn from the journeys of my colleagues at Farmers Edge!"
