You must provide a copy of your official transcript for all previous post-secondary studies (including university, CEGEP, Higher National Diploma, or private college), both completed and uncompleted. If a higher degree is attained (post-graduate diploma, Master’s, or PhD), the minimum GPA, or percentage, must be attained in all degrees.

Internship placements can be counted toward the minimum work experience requirement.
We recommend applicants to Artificial Intelligence and Predictive Analytics demonstrate additional professional work experience in applied computer science, applied statistics, engineering, or a business role involving the use/analysis of data. Additional work experience in Java and XML is preferred to strengthen their application.
Note: Applicants will be assessed on the following criteria: prior academic performance, amount of and type of work experience, and proficiency in English. Preference is given to applicants with the strongest combination. Meeting minimum requirements does not guarantee an offer of admission.
ALL applicants to full and part time programs whose previous education was completed outside of Canada and where English may or may not have been the medium of instruction, must submit ONE of the following English language proficiency measures:

Begin the application process by creating your account with UW on the online application portal, and preparing the required documents.
Complete the online application form and submit all required documents along with the non-refundable application fee.
Due to high application volume, we process international applications on a selective basis. We prioritize based on the academic quality of applicants and on the diversity of the international student body.
We also prioritize applicants that include all documents required to make an admission decision.
Please ensure that you regularly check your emails for correspondence from us and that you submit all required documentation in a timely manner.
Depending on your level of education (Bachelor, Masters or Ph.d and your work experience) you may be notified of meeting the admission criteria as quickly as 2 weeks.
If you are offered a seat you must complete a number of steps in order to finalize your seat. Get more information about accepting an offer of admission.
The University will not process application for admissions without the required documentation and will not hold a seat for pending applications.
Accepted students must present the original transcripts and proof of graduation from foreign universities and present an official/certified English translation of any transcripts and degrees/diplomas in languages other than English at the beginning of your program. The University may hold these transcripts for up to 30 days.
Failure to provide original transcripts and proof of graduation may result in a hold on your account and removal from the program.
You must present proof of name change (i.e., marriage certificates, divorce records, etc) for transcripts held under another name.
Resumes identify prior work experience, specialized skills, and personal attributes.
International students require a study permit to attend a Canadian university. To obtain an application and detailed instructions, contact the Canadian Visa Office nearest you, or visit the Citizenship and Immigration Canada website for further information. Study permits cost $125 CDN and can take up to three months to process. To complete the application process, you will need to contact a Canadian embassy or consulate or government representative.
In addition to the application and fee, you will be required to provide the following documentation:
Students from some countries require a Temporary Resident Visa to enter Canada. These countries are listed on the Citizenship and Immigration Canada website. You do not have to make a separate application or pay a separate fee. An officer will issue it at the same time as the documentation that you will need to enter Canada as a student.
If you are planning to study in Canada for six months or less, you may study under Temporary Resident Status as a visitor.
International students changing institutions within Canada and who already hold a valid study permit are not required to apply for a new permit, but should include a copy of their visa authorization form or immigration papers with their application package.
