Internship Spotlight: Vanessa Fernandes

Among our Marketing Management students who kicked off their internships last week is Vanessa Fernandes.

Vanessa is completing her 4-week internship at the Downtown Community Safety Partnership (DCSP), under the supervision of PACE alumna Joana Bersamina, Human Resources Manager.

“Our team is very excited for this as we know that PACE has good quality students,” said Joana, who knows first hand how the PACE experience can provide opportunities to students hoping to launch their careers in Winnipeg.

Over the next four weeks, Vanessa’s skills will be put to work with a variety of marketing tasks for the organization. She’ll be tasked with developing a marketing plan for DCSP, managing their social media accounts, and tracking media exposure. Vanessa will get experience working with the operations team on content marketing and project evaluation.
