Congratulations on completing your program!

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all PACE graduates on reaching this important milestone. Your hard work and dedication have brought you here, and we are proud to celebrate your success.

This page has all the information you need to officially graduate from your program.

Don’t miss the deadline, reserve your graduation gown by October 3, 2025.

Convocation Program

    • 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Pick up your processional car and gown in the Axworthy Health & Recplex, 350 Spence Street
    • You need your processional card to pickup your cap and gown and to line-up in the graduation procession.
    • During the ceremony, you will present this card to the Registrar before you cross the stage. It will be used to announce your name as you receive your certificate or diploma
    • Please note: Personal items/purses should be left with your family or friends or we suggest you wear a garment with pockets underneath your gown.

  • 12:30  Report to the marshaling area on the second floor to the Axworthy Health & Recplex. Procession will leave the marshalling area at 1:00 p.m. sharp.
    • The Graduation Procession follows a route that involves an extended walking path which includes stairs. Please email us if you feel this may be a concern and an alternate procession arrangement will be made.
    • Please note due to the number of stairs and flooring in the Recplex, we do NOT recommend you wear shoes with high heels.
    • Cell phones are to be turned off during the ceremony and should be left with family or friends.
    • Remember to take your procession card to the stage with you as this will be used to announce your name.
    • The cap tassel should be worn over the right front edge of the cap during the procession and prior to officially graduating.

  • Return your gown to Gaspard on the 2nd floor of the Recplex (350 Spence Street) before 5:00 PM. Students who do not return their gown after graduation will be charged a rental fee.

The deadlines for applying to graduate are as follows:

  • January 15 for applications to be approved by the University Senate in March
  • May 15 for applications to be approved by the University Senate in June
  • August 15 for applications to be approved by the University Senate in September

Note: Late applications will not be accepted. Diplomas are mailed to students approximately one month after each Senate meeting.

Accessibility

Graduates with limited mobility should know that the Graduation Procession follows an extended walking path which includes stairs.

If this is a concern, alternate arrangements can be made. Access to the stage involves a small number of stairs with a single hand rail or a ramp. During the ceremony, you are also required to stand for an extended period of time before going on stage. We strongly advise students or guests who have limited mobility or accessibility needs to arrive early. Doors will open one hour before the ceremony begins.

American Sign Language-English Interpretation will be provided for the duration of the Graduation ceremony.
