DPS 52020 36 hours

By building a comprehensive digital & social media strategy, students will learn how to integrate digital, social, and mobile platforms into a strategic integrated marketing program aligned with business goals.  In doing so, students will learn how to address the needs of clients and organizational leaders, using best practices to develop and execute B2B and B2C campaigns using analytics and marketing personas.

Prerequisites

Students must first successfully complete the following course:

  • Digital & Social Media Marketing
Outcomes

Upon completion of this course, students will:

  • Understand how to successfully integrate digital, social and mobile platforms into a strategic integrated marketing program aligned to overall business goals
  • Understand how to write a digital and social media strategy and budget to be presented to leadership or clients
  • Have developed a comprehensive digital and social media strategy, content calendar
  • Recognize the difference in working with larger and smaller budgets
  • Understand how to develop and execute a B2B and B2C campaign
  • Understand best practices in digital branding, multichannel marketing, social media, search, mobile, online advertising, email, and marketing automation
  • Understand the role of analytics and reporting in establishing brand strategy
  • Know the various digital tools helpful for doing the work.
