The growth and development of people is perhaps the highest calling of leadership, and the role of the people managers to set up individuals for success cannot be underestimated. Coaching employees for success in their current roles or developing them for future internal – lateral or vertical - career opportunities, is a crucial component in today’s working environment.
In this session participants will learn how to apply effective coaching and development methods in the workplace and address common challenges.

Outcomes
On completion of this course, participants will:
- Understand how to define, set and manage performance expectations
- Be able to identify how to provide effective feedback (both positive and constructive)
- Recognize the principles of coaching (what is the role of the coach and why is it important)
- Recognize and be able to apply the coaching approach according to the Skill/Will matrix
- Have conducted a coaching session using the GROW Model
