DEA 16472 | 30 hours |
This course will examine normal speech and language development, factors that affect the acquisition of language, and how a child’s language will impact the acquisition of academic skills, specifically in the areas of school readiness and language arts. The course will also provide information on various language disorders and review strategies which will aid in the child’s acquisition of language. This course is highly interactive and skills based. It is a “hands-on” approach to learning.
There will be no class 5/24/2021
This course will be offered in a blended format. Blended courses combine live virtual meeting and lecture times with independent study.
