In today’s rapidly changing environment, organizations need leaders who can effectively guide project and staff teams through change to achieve goals. Leading Change in the Workplace enables students to develop key leadership skills that prepare students to lead change effectively.  Students will learn to determine leadership styles to foster success, address resistance, and drive results for each change. Through assessments and tools, students will explore how leadership and communication influence the buy-in and adoption of change. By focusing on how leader behaviors impact performance, engagement, and change outcomes, students will be able to apply the skills and insights needed to enable leaders to lead change initiatives successfully.

  • Managing Organizational Change

 

 

Outcomes

On completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • Identify key leadership concepts, terminology, and the common causes of resistance to organizational change.
  • Describe various leadership styles and explain their relevance in managing and leading change initiatives.
  • Apply leadership assessment tools to evaluate leadership effectiveness and implement strategies to manage resistance and drive results.
  • Analyze the impact of leadership behaviors and communication approaches on team performance, engagement, and change outcomes.
  • Evaluate leadership strategies and communication practices used in real-world change initiatives to determine their effectiveness.
  • Develop a comprehensive change leadership plan, including tailored engagement and communication strategies to support successful change implementation.
