Trying to identify, resolve then repair conflict in teams can seem daunting for managers. This two-day seminar will first explore your comfort level with conflict and explore employer obligations to resolve concerns. A method called Systems Theory will be used to help managers find a way to organize the chaos. Then, dive into how to handle and assess complaints (formal or informal) including group concerns and sifting through gossip.
Then, how to decide the most appropriate approach to resolve matters. Different tips, tools and exercises will be given to explore methods to handle conflict in groups. Practical examples will be used and common workplace scenarios will be reviewed. Finally, looking at accountability, making repair and apologies.
