Formerly DPS 51043 - Effective Project Reporting and Communication
Change is a part of any project, requiring effective control to avoid failure. Project managers must be well skilled in managing change control and the related risks. This involves being able to effectively manage change requests and manage change communication. In this course, students will prepare for the role of project manager as it relates to managing changes and risk control.

Outcomes
At the completion of this course, students will be able to:
- perform integrated change control
- create a project change management plan
- create and manage an issue log
- assess changes for project impact
- create processes to manage change requests within a project
- respond to different stakeholder needs in a way that effectively accounts for stakeholders’ existing and desired levels of engagement
- conduct communications in a way that ensures stakeholders are effectively informed of project change and project needs so stakeholders are properly involved in project decisions and aware of impacts
