Students diagnosed with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) pose considerable challenges for both teachers and educational assistants. This workshop examines the definitions of the terms, cause, diagnostic procedures and methods of helping students learn academic and life skills. The various aspects of these alcohol-related disorders will be discussed with the goal of providing participants with useful information and practical skills.
This course will be offered in a blended format. Blended courses combine live virtual meeting and lecture times with independent study.
