Join us for a learning lunch with Dr. Stephen Hassar, Adjunct Professor in InteractionD eign & Human Factos at University of Kansas and User Experience Researcher at Google.

Dr. Hassard has over 12 years of experience working in the field of user experience working with brands such as Sony, Garmin, Mercedes-Benz, and Google in addition to working with students and not-for-profits in the instruction of how to apply user experience principles to their work at University College London, University of Winnipeg, and the University of Kansas. As a Google certified design sprint master, he has a unique experience into how to use design principles and apply them to a wide area of work. Dr. Hassard is currently a User Experience researcher at YouTube.

On his Linkedin profile, Dr. Hassard says "I obsess over details. Details aren't part of the design they are the design. Without a keen understanding of the user's needs and wants, as assessed by complementary qualitative and quantitative research methods, we are doomed to live in a world of monotony and tedium. My objective, is to make sure that every interaction you have with technology is like a warm hug from a friend and not a creepy lingering handshake from your Uncle Buck."

Seats are limited and you MUST RSVP to m.gulati@uwinnipeg.ca to secure your seat.
