This program focuses on critical thinking, ethics, and sustainable and sound business practices taught within a comprehensive accounting and financial framework.

$14,050: Tuition cost includes the $100.00/yr. UWSA Fee. Tuition is paid over two years.
$2,000-$2,200: Textbook costs may vary depending on new, rental, used, or electronic purchasing choices. Textbooks are a requirement.

The goal of the Financial Management Diploma is to provide students with managerial, accounting and financial knowledge and skills required for a wide variety of positions in the accounting and financial industry. Students who complete this program may wish to continue post-secondary studies in order to fulfill an accounting designation, or pursue pathways leading to undergraduate and graduate level study.

Financial Management Diploma applicants must have a minimum of one year of professional work experience.
Applicants whose previous education was completed outside of Canada and where English may or may not have been the medium of instruction, must submit proof of meeting one of the accepted English language proficiency measures. Graduates of the Financial Management Diploma are may pursue the following professional accreditation. Additional steps may be required.
Students graduating from the Management Certificate may apply for the Certified in Management designation (CIM). Certification is available for those that were registered in the program as of June 1, 2016.

Students who have graduated from the Financial Management Diploma may be eligible for transfer credit for the Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) Professional Education Program (PEP). Additional steps are required.
