Barry Wolfe received a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) followed by a teaching degree in the Faculty of Education at the University of Manitoba. Deciding that being an educator would be his lifelong passion, Barry went on to complete a Bachelor of Education in school counseling and a Master of Education and thesis majoring in educational psychology. Barry has been an educator in the public school system; adult learning at the University of Winnipeg, University of Manitoba; and indigenous education at the Neeginan Institute of Applied Technology. At present, Barry is an instructor at the Commonwealth College and Continuing Education, St. James-Assiniboia. Barry is also a certified instructor in “Working Effectively With Violent and Aggressive Students” (WEVAS) and “Nonviolent Crisis Intervention” (NCI). Barry has 34 years of experience in teaching and counseling young people in the middle and high school years. He has established and written curriculum in psychology for the Department of Education and has been an instructor and program developer in adult education for over 25 years. He has also served as an executive member of a large variety of professional affiliations. Barry brings a wealth of experience in program planning and development and is well-versed in the particularities and philosophy of education.
