Micael Moura (he/him) is an internationally educated Lawyer and Human Rights practitioner with 12 years of experience in legal and business advisory roles, dedicated to fostering cultural connections, mutual understanding and accountability within historically colonial, white-centred corporations. He is a father, a husband, a newcomer to Treaty 1 Territory, and a proud member of the Latin American community in Winnipeg. Currently working as the Manager of Equity at the Winnipeg Art Gallery-Qaumajuq, Micael provides comprehensive strategic oversight to the Gallery in relation to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion. He recently obtained a Diploma in Advanced Business Management at the University of Winnipeg - PACE (2023). Additionally, he holds a Bachelor of Law (2010), a Specialization in Human Rights Certificate (2014), and a Bachelor of Education in History (2021). He is passionate about history, equity, and sustainability.
