Leanne Edwards, B.Comm (Hons), PMP, DASSM is a Senior Project Manager with formal experience as a Business Analyst, Planner, Operations Manager and Account Manager. She has managed projects in construction, manufacturing, telecommunications, insurance, government, information technology (IT), not-for-profit and business sectors. Leanne is also the president of company specializing in customized commercial and residential construction projects.
She has served as the Vice President Member Services and Director of Membership for the Project Management Institute (PMI) Manitoba Chapter and on the Board of Directors for the St. Boniface Hospital Auxiliary. Leanne has extensive experience in project management, negotiations, programs, portfolios, business analysis, strategic planning, business development, costing, estimating, scheduling, retail, financial management, risk analysis, and business relations. Leanne has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (Honours) from the University of Manitoba and a Business Analyst Certificate from Red River College. She also has a Masters Certificate in Project Management (MCPM) from the University of Winnipeg / York University and received her Project Management Professional (PMP) and Disciplined Agile Senior Scrum Master (DASSM) designations from the Project Management Institute (PMI). Leanne is also a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt and Prosci Change Management Practitioner. Leanne currently teaches at the University of Winnipeg - Professional Applied and Continuing Education (PACE) in the Project Management Diploma, Applied Project Management Certificate and Advanced Business Management programs.
