In 2019, she stepped into the non-profit sector as a Marketing Director. A natural communicator and leader, Lora loves to foster collaboration and cultivate potential in others, which makes working with students at the University so meaningful.

Growing up Cheryl Hudson always wanted to be a teacher. She took a one year Accounting diploma course and later obtained her CGA designation. Cheryl graduated from the CGA program in 2001 and at that time worked as an Accountant for a Ford dealership in rural Manitoba. In 2002, a part-time teaching position became available at the Red River College Winkler campus. Cheryl taught part-time until 2005 when a full-time position became available.
