Mia Balansag, a Chartered Manager (Canada) with a Master's in International Development (Spain), brings a global perspective to her teaching role. With certifications in Management Administration (Canada), as well as being a Certified Management Accountant (USA) and a CPA (Philippines) Mia is a seasoned Finance professional with over 15 years of experience.

Joseph is originally from England, moving to Canada after living in both Afghanistan and Nigeria in his youth. He is a veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces with several operational tours to places such as Bosnia, Cyprus, Sierra Leone, and Afghanistan. Joseph completed a Bachelor of Engineering from the Royal Military College of Canada, a Master of Education from Athabasca University, and several unique qualifications through the military. His last posting was in the role of Dean of Academics at the Special Forces Operations School in Belgium with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.
