This course complies with the guidelines put out by Manitoba Work Place Health and Safety for an 8 hour, first aide course.

Topics covered will be: Emergency Scene Management, Adult/Child CPR/Introduction to AED, Obstructed Airway, Bleeding and Wounds, Shock, Bone, Muscle and Joint Injuries, Head, Neck and Spinal Injuries, Burns, Sudden Illness and Injury prevention. The information and amount of detail in each topic will be tailored to the needs of participants within the 8-hour timeline. Students who complete the course will receive a Certificate of Participation.
