This course is designed to equip students with the advanced knowledge and skills necessary to effectively manage projects in the fast-paced and dynamic world of Information Technology (IT) environments. Students will explore project management frameworks, methodologies, and tools with a focus on the specific challenges and complexities that arise in IT projects. The course covers essential project management concepts such as scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, resource, stakeholder, and communication management, while integrating IT-specific considerations like technology lifecycles, agile and hybrid practices, and software development methodologies. Students will also examine change management strategies to enhance adaptability, stakeholder engagement, and user adoption, thereby increasing the probability of IT project success. Students will also learn how to bridge the gap between business objectives and technological solutions while managing change effectively in IT-driven environments.
