Stephen

Proskurnik

Steve Proskurnik, is a certified teacher with over 19 years of experience, serving in many different roles including classroom teacher, counselor, divisional support teacher, and consultant. For the past 10 years, he has been in roles that developed and supported educational programming for TVE, the High School Apprenticeship Program (HSAP), and career development for students. He has partnered with many outside organizations in his many volunteer roles including being the technical director for the Public Speaking competition for Skills Manitoba, board member for the BBB Lift Ethics for students, and past co-chair of the HSAP Professional Learning Group for Educators. He has completed a Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Education with a specialization in guidance and counseling and a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration. Steve uses his own life experiences to bring passion to the promotion of skilled trades and expertise in career planning for student success.
