Genny Sacco-Bak has over 6 years experience working as a fundraising coordinator for non-for-profit organizations and recently completed the Certified Fundraising Professional (CFRE) Review Course. Affectionately known as the “queen of free”, she has successfully raised over $500,000 through various events and sponsorship. As well, Genny has over 30 years experience working in marketing, event management, public relations and communications for various technology and finance organizations. An alumnus of the University of Winnipeg PACE program, she received her Communications Certificate in 2001, majoring in Marketing and Advertising. A passionate public speaker, Genny achieved the Silver Level in public speaking through Toastmasters International. She served as president and education chair of the Peak Performers Toastmasters Club. In her spare time, Genny is also a certified Zumba instructor (Genny B Fitness) and a certified Group Fitness Instructor with the Manitoba Fitness Council. She finds teaching fitness classes very relaxing and a good outlet for her high energy!
