The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step!

My first step was to enroll in a Human Resource Management Program at the UWinnipeg PACE. Since then, it has been a marathon that I finished this month by completing the internship program at Qualico Canada.

I have acquired new skills and abilities to develop myself as a young professional and enhance my resume through my internship experience.

My internship supervisor Crystal Grela invested time throughout the internship program in guiding, supporting, and answering my questions and giving me great learning opportunities. During one-on-one meeting with various process leads I got the chance to ask them process-related queries and understand the functioning across the company. I got the opportunity to meet the incredible team at Qualico, who made me feel welcomed right from the first day.

It has been a great excursion of education, interaction, work experience, and meeting incredible people throughout the period.

I would like to express my gratitude to the UWinnipeg PACE team! Thank you, Ashlie Wilson, Program Manager, for being with us through this journey! Thank you, Kelly Carpick, Student, Support Specialist, for consistently supporting the students! Thank you to all my instructors with whom I had engaging conversations and gained a lot of information and insights during the program!

Special thanks to my batchmates who have been with me throughout the program. In an incredible ride of ups and downs, I am honoured to meet you all, admire you, learned a lot from you and look forward to meeting with you again in the HR world!

Thanks to my spouse and family, the most significant element, who motivated me at every step of this journey!

As this program ends and I am a graduate, I am about to start a new adventure, and I look forward to it!
