Under the guidance of Aria Lucey and Jessica Wagner, Zen Ihsan wrapped up her Human Resource Management program with a 4-week internship with Bockstael Construction.

“This internship has prepared me for my next steps in HR by creating valuable on-the-job learning opportunities, and to further explore what areas of HR I would like to specialize in,” said Zen, adding that her experience allowed her to use the knowledge and skills she’s gained at PACE it in the real world.

 “It was a pleasure to have Zen with us at Bockstael Construction for her four week internship placement,” said Jessica.

During her placement with Bockstael, Zen had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, as well assisting with the prep for the company’s annual company golf tournament and various other human resource initiatives.

“Interning in a company that values learning and career development creates awareness of all the pathways one can take in the exciting world of HR,” said Zen.

“With her education and the new skills she gained during internship, we know Zen will be successful as she starts her career in HR. We wish you all the best Zen,” said Jessica.
