This course is designed for students who are planning to take post-secondary courses and do not have previous university education. Participants will learn various aspects of academic writing, including the rhetorical situation, the writing process, effective research techniques, and proper documentation.

This seminar will be delivered in an Online Blended format. Online Blended combines live online weekly lectures at a set class time with independent study. Each seminar/course at PACE has a Nexus site that opens one week prior to the first day of class. The course outline and all Zoom links are posted to Nexus. Students must register a minimum of 48 hours prior to the start of the seminar to ensure access to Nexus before the seminar begins. Students who register with less than 48 hours prior to the start of the seminar may not receive access to their Nexus course site in time and may miss the seminar.
