Michael Hanna, P.Eng, PMP is a seasoned strategic leader with over 20 years of experience in project management. Throughout his career, Michael managed large and complex programs and cross-functional projects. He has vast experience in people leadership including helping, coaching and developing high performance teams. Michael is currently the Manager of the Project Management Office at BellMTS and is a former president of PMI Manitoba Chapter. “Change is good” being one of his philosophies, Michael envisions possibilities by embracing the “good change” and challenging status Quo. He believes that in adopting the “right strategy or approach” with a little bit of “risk taking” preparation will lead to more success in real life. Michael is passionate about driving up efficiencies through innovation and thinking outside the box. He is also a strong believer in leadership without authority. Michael is open to differences and he also enjoys coaching and helping others realize their personal development goals. Michael holds a bachelor degree of Electrical Engineering from Ain-Shams University and is currently registered as a professional Engineer with the association of Engineers and Geoscientists of Manitoba (EGM). Michael obtained his PMP certification in 2006, his Professional Scrum Master certificate (PSM1) in 2020 and his Professional Product Owner certificate (PSPO1) in 2020.
