Darren Day, a graduate of the Public Relations, Marketing, and Strategic Communications Diploma program at PACE in 2021, hails from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Now working as a Social Media Specialist at the Crisis & Trauma Resource Institute, Darren manages social media for two companies, handling copyrighting, messaging, branding styles, ads, and client communications. This role allows him to apply his education creatively in real-world scenarios.
Darren highlights the importance of building and nurturing professional relationships during his time at PACE. He states, "Many of the connections I made at PACE have been important for me in my path forward." Networking played a crucial role in his personal and professional development.
His advice to current PACE students is to leverage their networks: "Your time at PACE is an opportunity to get to know peers and instructors who may become part of your professional network. Stay connected and engage with those around you."
At PACE, we emphasize creating an environment that fosters education and extensive networks benefiting graduates long after they complete their programs. Darren Day's success story exemplifies the power of our community-oriented approach and practical, hands-on learning, inspiring current and prospective students to make a significant impact on their professional journeys.
