Ready to launch my career in Canada

The PACE experience is more than just studying

Blondie Yeung recently graduated from our Advanced Business Management program

I strongly believe the knowledge I gained this year is good ground to prepare for my career in Canada.

I have been a marketing specialist for 20 years in Hong Kong. As I wished the fill my gap in business and leadership knowledge, I decided to give myself a break from work and to go back to school for further studies.

So, with this objective in mind, I found the Advanced Business Management (ABM) Post Degree program at PACE. From courses in Business, Finance, Project Management, and Leadership to Cultural Dimensions the program filled the gap of my career in marketing with in-depth knowledge in business and leadership.

I was impressed by the portfolio of the ABM students. My classmates brought a wealth of working experience from their home countries, so collaborating with my classmates was very rewarding and it has broadened my horizons.

With most of the presentation assignments requiring group work, it also allowed us to collaborate with across different cultures and backgrounds. This is particularly an important experience, as it helps us all adapt to the diversified working environment in the future.

The support team at PACE also connected with us closely. This is particularly essential especially for international students, who are new to the city and the school. Not only did the team provide students with detailed guidance on traveling to Canada and starting the school year, but the team also gave us good advice to settle in Winnipeg, and especially for preparing to “survive” in the winter weather here.

I would say the PACE experience is more than just studying, the connection between PACE and students makes the entire studying journey truly rewarding and memorable.
