Why become an internship site?

Help shape the future by giving exceptional PACE students hands-on experience to consolidate theory and practice. Students at PACE are taught by industry-leading professionals, giving our students the edge as they transition from the classroom to the boardroom

Only students with a GPA of 3.0 and above qualify for internships – get the best and brightest from our programs. Interns volunteer their time in exchange for work experience.

When would we have an intern?

Depending on the related field of study, sites host interns at different times through-out the year.<

What are our responsibilities as an internship host?

• Assign a dedicated supervisor or mentor who will provide guidance, feedback, and regular support throughout the internship. Provide the intern with an appropriate workspace, equipment, and access to the resources needed to complete their work.
• Provide meaningful work assignments that align with the internship’s learning objectives and the student’s program outcomes. Offer clear direction, feedback, and opportunities for professional growth.
• Provide ongoing mentoring and schedule regular check-ins (weekly is recommended) to support progress, answer questions, and maintain open communication.
• Communicate any performance concerns promptly with both the student and the Internship Coordinator so that appropriate support can be provided.
• Remote and hybrid internships may be possible where appropriate. Hosts should ensure interns receive adequate supervision, regular communication, meaningful work, and access to the tools and resources required to meet the internship’s learning objectives.

Designing a successful internship project:

• Internship projects should provide students with meaningful, program-related experience that supports both organizational goals and the learning outcomes of their academic program. The strongest internships include clearly defined responsibilities, opportunities to apply technical and professional skills, and regular feedback from a supervisor.
