Mariana was born and raised in Brazil, where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a Human Resources management diploma. She accumulated over ten years of experience in human resources, working with national and multinational companies. In 2017, she moved to Winnipeg to seek new challenges and opportunities. She is grateful to the city that welcomed her with open arms and where she found opportunities to further her career in recruitment, human resources, system implementation, project management and safety management. In 2022, Mariana graduated with a Certificate in Human Resource Management from UofM and, in 2024 received a CPHR designation. In her free time, Mariana loves learning new skills, cooking new recipes and spending quality time with her husband, daughter and friends.
