Meet our instructors:

Mark Warkentin

Mark Warkentin, P.Eng., PMP, is a Streets Project Engineer with the City of Winnipeg. He started his career working in a consultant engineering firm, ND Lea Engineering, which is now WSP Canada Inc. He currently oversees road renewal projects throughout the city. He has 13 years of experience leading projects through initiation, design, construction and close out. Through PACE, Mark instructs the Quality Management course in the Project Management program. He went through the same program in 2013-2014.

MaryAnn Kempe has over 30 years leading multi-faceted aspects of business - holding executive and senior roles in both public and private industries. As an Executive Coach, MaryAnn inspires, motivates and ignites others to discover and develop their full potential and is passionate about igniting learning with students. MaryAnn is recognized as a collaborative leader with a passion for continuous learning – she holds multiple degrees and certifications in psychology, human resources, business, adult education, mediation, executive coaching and holds the designation of FCPHR.
