Your Path to Creative Confidence

Develop the practical design skills needed to create professional-quality visual content across digital platforms.

The Digital Design Essentials Microcredential is designed for professionals who want to build confidence using today's leading design tools. Through two focused courses, you'll develop practical skills in graphic design, branding, visual communication, and content creation using Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, and Figma. You'll also build a portfolio of professional-quality work that demonstrates your creative and technical abilities.

Earn your microcredential by completing the following courses:

1 – Digital Design Essentials I (replace with actual course title if different)
Develop foundational design principles while creating professional-quality graphics using Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva.

2 – Digital Design Essentials II (replace with actual course title if different)
Advance your design skills with Figma and industry-standard workflows while building a portfolio of digital assets for a variety of platforms.

Tuition & Fees

Each course is $525.00. UWinnipeg alumni are eligible for a 10% discount.

Duration

The Digital Design Essentials Microcredential consists of two 36-hour courses (72 instructional hours).

Courses may be completed individually and applied toward the microcredential.

Upon successful completion of both courses, you can apply to receive the Digital Design Essentials Microcredential.
