Thank you for choosing to learn more about the internship component of PACE diploma programs. UWinnipeg PACE partners with local businesses to provide students with meaningful, hands-on internships that provide a launch-pad into the workforce after the in-class components of our specialized diploma programs.
Internship is the gateway to your re-entry into the workforce and provides a tangible framework to develop hands-on work experience. Internship will help you gain confidence in skills developed through your studies and build a portfolio through real-world work assignments.
UWinnipeg PACE will approve an internship site based on the following criteria:

Internship site supervisors provide a brief evaluation to the Internship Coordinator, outlining the time committed, and possibly including feedback for the student. Once the evaluation is returned, the Pass/Fail will be recorded on the student’s transcript.
