Dive into challenges head first

"Starting a program amid a worldwide pandemic in 2020 had not been part of my plan, but it is something I certainly do not regret. Though it was a challenging year of work, it allowed me to go straight to a full-time as Marketing and Communications Coordinator at Frontiers North Adventures job post-graduation that feels like an excellent fit.

The PACE PR, Marketing and Strategic Communication Management program caught my eye with the variety of courses offered in marketing, communications, public relations, and graphic design. Every course I took challenged me in new ways and allowed me to walk away with a vast set of skills.

The program offers a unique chance to be taught by industry professionals who can share first-hand experience of what a career could look like post-graduation. I was pleased to learn from so many different people, all with a wide variety of insights and backgrounds.

Though my PACE experience may have been virtual, I was still lucky to find myself in a tight-knit group with my cohort. One of the best parts of the program is that you have a whole diverse group of people right in it with you to lend a helping hand, teach new perspectives, celebrate achievements, and most importantly, to laugh alongside you.

The program has proven that hard work and dedication pay off in the end and that anything is achievable.

So, to anyone heading into the program, I encourage you to work hard, build new connections, dive into challenges headfirst and, of course, always be kind."
