This course is the capstone course in the Web Application Development Program.

Students will draw from the skills and knowledge developed through the entire program and will integrate all of this into a final eCommerce project. Students will be tasked with configuring, from the ground up, a fully functional Internet server. This includes configuring the network, installing, and configuring all the services (Apache, MySQL, SSH, FTP, Mail), and conducting a full security assessment. Students will also have to establish a small web presence and simulate an online commercial business environment.

Students will work in groups, manage, and delegate responsibilities, meet internal deadlines, and operate as an independent business. This capstone project provides students with valuable experience working as a team and collaborating with others on a development project.
