Earlier this year, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) announced significant changes to the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) program, study permit eligibility, and work permit rules. In response PACE has conducted a thorough review of our offerings based on their new requirements, below you will find the preliminary list.
Please note that this list is preliminary, as the Government of Manitoba is still in discussions with the Government of Canada. While some of our programs are not yet included, PACE remains committed to aligning with Manitoba's in-demand occupations and will provide updates as additional programs become PGWP-eligible.

Important Things to Note for PACE Students:
If you are a current international student at PACE and meet the language proficiency requirements, you are still eligible to apply for a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP), regardless of your program.
International students applying for study permits before November 1, 2024, will be eligible to apply for a PGWP upon graduation, regardless of which PACE program you are enrolled in.
If you are applying for a study permit after November 1, 2024, you must enroll in a PACE program that is identified as PGWP-eligible in order to work in Canada after graduation.
We are dedicated to providing programs that align with your post-graduation career aspirations. As we work to expand the list of PGWP-eligible programs, we encourage you to check back for updates. If you have any questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out to us at applytopace@uwinnipeg.ca.
