Many organizations struggle to actualize strategic planning goals. Integrated Strategic Change (ISC) systematically aligns organizational design structures with the overall business strategy and integral financial measures to deploy the strategic change plan across business operations. This course explores the fusion of strategic planning and business process orientation through a variety of Integrated Strategic Change (ISC) modeling platforms.
This course also explores how strategy, operations and tactics should progress across the present, the transition and the desirable future time states. This highly participative process includes the human element, corporate culture and the environmental climate.
In this course, students will learn essential concepts about the change management process, including how change affects organizations and how to apply analysis tools and metrics to achieve strategic plan objectives.
Outcomes
On completion of this course, students will:
- Understand the four phases of change - the situational analysis, the change plan development, the change plan implementation, and the adaptation and monitors - and systems and processes to achieve these objectives
- Align the situational analysis framework to develop a new strategic business orientation to obtain long-term sustainability
- Develop a sustainable change strategy, identify all the organizational pathways right down to how change fits into individual work packages, determine how to integrate throughout the entire organization and within individual business units, and establish the monitoring tactics
- Design an implementable change plan
