Angela is a dedicated professional with 25+ years of experience in education, training, and leadership. In her role as a leader, she took pride in being a coach leader, focusing on the development and career advancement of her team members. It is that experience that she brings to the classroom, sharing and exploring the real-life world of leadership with her students. Over the course of her career, she has earned and held a variety of certifications and designations ranging from Quality Management to designations in training and professional development.

Dr. Shade's unique blend of extensive academic, professional, and leadership development experience and speaking skills makes her a valuable addition to the PACE program at the University of Winnipeg. Her diverse background equips her to offer transformational and practical, real-world insights into effective leadership. With a PhD in Microbiology, Dr. Shade is an award-winning scholar and research fellow with expertise in curriculum development. She also holds leadership training, coaching, and consulting certifications and a passion for leadership excellence.
