Taking a break from work after 10 successful years in Strategic Sourcing and Supply Chain in the Automobile Industry in India was not a easy decision. However with an aspiration to enrich his skill-set, Satender attended many education fairs and explored 100s of universities. That’s when he came across the Project Management Diploma offered by UWinnipeg PACE. He knew it would be the right move for taking his career to the next level.
“Besides providing academic excellence, the PACE faculty also helped me in getting adjusted to this new country and helped me call it home,” says Satender.
“The expertise and the professionalism of the faculty were stupendous. All this gives me a healthier sense of self-esteem and a feeling of great accomplishment.”
Satender says his experience as an international student was incredibly stimulating, enriching, and rewarding.
“The program translated my practical experience into powerful Canadian experience,” he says. “I had two job soffer at the end of my internship thanks to PACE!”

These misconceptions often become mantras or simple assumptions about how change works, leading to an overall resistance to putting in the effort required to manage change effectively.
As a human resource professional, executive coach, automotive executive and part-time university instructor, my greatest challenge over the last three years has been helping current and future leaders motivate and retain talent.
I’ve had conversations, as recently as the last few months, with leaders who’ve asked, ‘When do you think work is going to go back to normal?’ or ‘When is this remote / hybrid trend going to be done?’.
The answer is that work isn’t going back to pre-pandemic normal, and a changing work environment and flexible work is here to stay.
Winter is here, but if you're new to Winnipeg (or you just need some new inspiration), how do you make the most of the colder months? The PACE team have put together a list of some of our favourite winter activities! Of course make sure you're following all provincial public health guidelines when you're out and about.
Janice Chan completed her 4-week internship with MacDon earlier this Fall, before officially graduating with Human Resource Management Diploma last week.
We recently caught up with Amit Saini, who graduated from our first cohort of the Predictive Analytics Diploma this fall and asked him about his experience at PACE.
