“PACE helped me bridge the gap between my prior experience and current industry trends," says Amit Saini, Senior Data Engineer at Economic Development Winnipeg, the city’s lead economic development agency and champion for local growth.
“The curriculum offered best matched my learning goals and predilections within an optimized duration,” says Amit, who had a formal education gap of 17 years before deciding to pursue a post-degree program.
“PACE helped me level up my marketing skills and ensure a smooth transition into the Canadian work culture,” says Shaily Nag, who earned her Marketing Management Diploma from UWinnipeg PACE in 2021. Shaily spent nine years working in various roles in the travel and tourism industry, each with a marketing component, before deciding to pivot a pursue a career fully focused on marketing.
"I had been looking to shift my career from Supply Chain to HR when I came across PACE and the program, and the courses were perfect for me to get the education I needed to make a move in my career," says Alonso Aguayo Topete, who earned his Human Resource Management Diploma from UWinnipeg PACE in 2022.
Alonso says he found the PACE unique because of the industry-connected instructors in his program.
“I chose UWinnipeg because a couple of my trusted friends went through the Project Management program at PACE and highly recommended I take the program there,” says Andrew Graham, who earned his Project Management Diploma from UWinnipeg PACE in 2021. Although he already held the Project Management Professional (PMP) designation, he chose PACE to enhance his knowledge and practical skills in project management and business.
“I chose PACE because this 12-month diploma program was a perfect fit to advance my technical expertise and marketability in the field of data analytics,” says Mahesh Kumar Batti Venkata Naga, who earned his Predictive Analytics Diploma from UWinnipeg PACE in 2022.
