Fast-track your HR career with the Human Resource Management Diploma – Accelerated, a 6-month, CPHR-accredited program that equips you with the knowledge and tools to lead in the dynamic field of human resources. This 4X award-winning program combines traditional HR principles with a strong focus on leadership, business acumen, and effective communication.

Aligned with industry-recognized standards, the program prepares you for success in the workplace while offering additional credentials, including WHMIS certification. Graduates may also be eligible to waive the National Knowledge Exam (NKE), taking you one step closer to earning your Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation.

    $7,950: Tuition cost includes the $100.00 UWSA Fee. Costs are subject to change.*

    $1,600: Textbook costs may vary depending on new, rental, used, or electronic purchasing choices. Textbooks are a requirement.

    Duration

    6 months in duration, Mon-Fri, 9am-4pm.

    Two weeks off for winter break.

    Hybrid Program

    This PACE program is delivered entirely online, with courses scheduled in either live virtual sessions or flexible online formats, depending on the course structure. Students follow a set schedule designed to provide consistency and structure while benefiting from the convenience of remote learning.

    In live virtual sessions, students participate in real-time classes with instructors and classmates, fostering interaction and collaboration. Flexible online formats allow students to complete lectures, assignments, and activities on their own time within specified deadlines, providing flexibility while maintaining clear expectations.

    This fully online delivery model supports school-life balance while fostering essential workplace skills such as collaboration, accountability, adaptability, and effective communication—all within a supportive virtual learning environment.

    Outcomes

    Upon successful completion, graduates will:

    • Gain the skills to work in various HR roles, from HR coordinator to compensation manager.
    • Understand and comply with workplace health and safety regulations, WHMIS legislation, and employment standards.
    • Develop effective recruitment strategies and talent management plans.
    • Foster employee engagement and satisfaction to build productive work environments.
    • Manage performance, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
    • Design and evaluate total compensation packages aligned with organizational goals.
    • Apply financial decision-making and budgeting skills.
    • Begin the process to earn the nationally recognized CPHR designation.

    Admission Requirements

    • Be a high school graduate or hold a Mature Status Diploma.
      • MUST provide High School Transcript or recognized equivalent GED or Mature Grade 12 Diploma.

    OR

    • Be 18 years of age or older and have completed 90 hours of coursework or more at a recognized post-secondary institution (including UWPACE) with minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
      • MUST provide an official transcript for all previous post-secondary study (including university, CEGEP, or private college).

    Work Experience

    • Applicants with a degree must have at least one year of work experience, with part-time work being acceptable.

    • Applicants without a degree must have a minimum of three years of work experience.

      • Others will be evaluated at the discretion of the admissions team. The University may request a Letter of Intent and Reference Letters.

    English Language Requirements

    Applicants whose previous education was completed outside of Canada and where English may or may not have been the medium of instruction, must submit proof of meeting one of the accepted English language proficiency measures.

    HR Program Officially Accredited by Provincial Certifying Body (CPHR Manitoba)

    What does the CPHR accrediation mean for graduates of our programs

    Upon completion of the Human Resource Management Diploma, graduates can begin the professional certification process for the Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation.

    The CPHR designation is the nationally recognized industry standard of excellence for those working in the field of HR, as it requires an individual to achieve and maintain demonstrated competency and experience relevant to the HR profession.

    Graduates who choose to pursue the CPHR designation may be eligible for a waiver from the National Knowledge Exam (NKE). With a successful waiver application, you become a CPHR Candidate and are one step closer to earning your CPHR designation.

    • Applicants must be a member in good standing with CPHR Manitoba
    • Application for an NKE waiver must be made within five years of graduating from PACE
    • Graduates must achieve a minimum G.P.A of 3.0 to be eligible

    Students must have a laptop that meets the following requirements for their program (not included in tuition).

    ⚠️ Tablets are not recommended for use in any program. Some required software may not be fully compatible with tablets, particularly Android devices. Students should ensure they have access to a laptop that meets the specifications below.
