"The education you're getting is industry-specific and it's what industry is demanding today," says Rebecca Peech, a proud graduate of the Public Relations, Marketing & Strategic Communications program at PACE. Having completed her studies in August 2021, Rebecca has rapidly advanced to the role of Senior Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility & Communications at Dufresne Spencer Group, LLC dba Ashley.
"PACE gave me everything I needed to know to understand the Canadian culture and diversity within the workplace," says Juan Pablo Fernandez, who graduated with an Advanced Business Management Diploma in December 2023 from PACE. Originally from Costa Rica, Juan Pablo has successfully transitioned into his role as a Financial Analyst at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority.
"Right after completing my internship, I secured a job. Yes, that's what PACE does for you," shares Rita Eghujovbo, a 2024 graduate from the Human Resource Management Program. Originally from Nigeria and with a background in media, Rita chose PACE to pivot her career towards human resource management, seeking not only knowledge but also vital industry connections.
Darren Day, a graduate of the Public Relations, Marketing, and Strategic Communications Diploma program at PACE in 2021, hails from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Now working as a Social Media Specialist at the Crisis & Trauma Resource Institute, Darren manages social media for two companies, handling copyrighting, messaging, branding styles, ads, and client communications. This role allows him to apply his education creatively in real-world scenarios.
Mrinmayee Koparkar, an alumna from Mumbai, India, completed her post-graduate diploma in Human Resource Management at PACE in May 2023. Reflecting on her journey, Mrinmayee describes it as challenging yet immensely rewarding, highlighting the critical role of real-time case studies in developing her skills in critical thinking, adaptability, and communication.
