NEW PROGRAM STARTING MAY 2026 - APPLICATIONS OPEN MAY 15, 2025

Important Update - Review to learn more about the lastest IRCC updates to post-graduation work permits for international students.

This integrated program prepares professionals to lead business transformation by combining core competencies in business analysis, data-driven decision-making, process improvement, and change leadership. Students develop business analysis skills aligned with the IIBA BABOK, gain proficiency in business intelligence tools to turn data into actionable insights, and apply change management strategies to support organizational evolution. Lean Yellow and Green Belt certifications are embedded in the program, offering hands-on experience with DMAIC tools to reduce waste, improve quality, and lead process improvement. Graduates are equipped to drive efficiency, innovation, and measurable value across diverse organizational settings.

This program is PGWP-eligible under CIP Code: 52.1302 Business statistics IF you applied for a study permit prior to June 25, 2025.

Hybrid Program

This program follows a blended learning model, combining in-class sessions, live online instruction, and scheduled online coursework to create a dynamic and adaptable educational experience.

Courses are carefully structured to balance in-person interaction with the convenience of online learning. Live online sessions allow students to engage with instructors and classmates in real-time, while scheduled online coursework provides flexibility in when they complete assignments within set deadlines. The number and format of online courses may vary based on program needs and scheduling.

This multi-modal approach ensures that students stay connected with their peers and instructors while developing essential workplace skills such as digital collaboration, adaptability, accountability, and effective communication. While students must follow the program’s set schedule, this blended format allows them to engage with learning in different ways, whether attending classes on campus, participating in live online discussions, or completing coursework independently.

Admission Requirements

Academic Requirements

  • International students are required to hold a minimum of an undergraduate degree or a 2-year diploma. (Applicants with a 2-year diploma must have one additional year of work experience to be eligible)
    • A Higher National Diploma from Nigeria and Ghana are exceptions
  • The Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) or Final Percentage on these transcripts will be assessed for eligibility.
    • If a higher degree is attained (post-graduate diploma, Master’s, or PhD) the minimum GPA or Percentage must be attained in all degrees.

Work Experience

Business Analysis & Transformation Progrma applicants must have a minimum of two years of professional work experience. Internship placements can be counted toward the minimum work experience requirement.

  • If holding a Bachelor’s Degree: A minimum of 2 years of work experience (practicum experience will be accepted).

  • If holding a 2-year Diploma: A minimum of 3 years of work experience (practicum experience will be accepted).

English Language Requirements

Applicants whose previous education was completed outside of Canada and where English may or may not have been the medium of instruction, must submit proof of meeting one of the accepted English language proficiency measures.

    What does the CPHR Accreditation mean for graduates of our programs

    Upon completion of the Human Resource Management Diploma, graduates can begin the professional certification process for the Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation.

    The CPHR designation is the nationally recognized industry standard of excellence for those working in the field of HR, as it requires an individual to achieve and maintain demonstrated competency and experience relevant to the HR profession.

    Graduates who choose to pursue the CPHR designation may be eligible for a waiver from the National Knowledge Exam (NKE). With a successful waiver application, you become a CPHR Candidate and are one step closer to earning your CPHR designation.

    • Applicants must be a member in good standing with CPHR Manitoba
    • Application for an NKE waiver must be made within five years of graduating from PACE
    • Graduates must achieve a minimum G.P.A of 3.0 to be eligible

      The program consists of two components: the Core Courses and Elective Courses. Students may take the courses in any order as long as they have the required prerequisites. Students have up to five years to complete the 360 hours of study. Students may condense their studies by taking more than one course per term.

      Educational Assistant Diploma (Full-time)

      This innovative program provides valuable training to educational assistants in our school system. The program focuses on the role of the educational assistant within the learning system and provides a practical understanding of exceptional children and how to help them. Since its inception in 1987, the Educational Assistant Diploma has provided the theoretical and practical knowledge students need to become a confident and effective presence in the classroom. Students have the opportunity to share experiences with other educational assistants and gain a broader view of current practices within the school system. Key topics explored include development, resiliency, language, and behaviour. 

      Full time students in the Educational Assistant Diploma Program who are participating in the 4-week practicum at the end of the program will be required to apply for a Criminal Record Check (with Vulnerable Sector Check) and a Child Abuse Registry Check within the first month of the program. Students will receive additional information and instructions from PACE at the start of the program regarding practicum requirements, and will be advised when and where the documents are to be submitted.

      Articulation For Credit

      Graduates of the Educational Assistant Diploma program may be eligible for a maximum of 12 credit hours in the Faculty of Education at The University of Winnipeg. Learn more about Pathways to UW.

      This program does not accept International Students, as the length is not sufficent to permit a study visa.
